Why install a TSS-71?
All fibers, fines, colloidal substances, and dissolved polymers impact the charge balance. To measure only the dissolved colloidal substances, it is essential to have a filtrate with reproducible quality. It is also important to measure the charge where it originates, in the incoming thick or thin stock, and at a location where a coagulant/fixative is added.
Furthermore, with its turbidity measurement in thick stock it measures also uncharged fine-dispersed solids which can be crucial for some applications.
